Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP) has launched new funding programs and supports for Saskatchewan exporter beginning April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2028. These initiatives are designed to strengthen Saskatchewan exporters’ capacity, support market diversification, enhance global competitiveness and are open to both STEP members and non-members.
Over the next two fiscal years, these programs will support market diversification and export capacity development through:
- Market Diversification Program (MDP) – Supporting domestic and international marketing initiatives (excluding U.S.)
- Product Modification/Certification Support Program – Temporary support to help exporters adapt products or secure required certifications for new markets.
- Business Advisory Services Funding Program – Temporary funding to access professional consulting services that enhance competitiveness and operational readiness.
