Screening this weekend!
Jack Hilkewich’s 14-year labour of love is about to come to fruition. Jack, who has worked many years in the province’s film industry, is the director and a producer of Mainprize – a project that chronicles the life, career and commitment of Dr. William Graham Mainprize, who served the Midale area for decades.
Darryl Kesslar worked as DOP, with Murray Kerr and Dwayne Melcher as co-producers.
The film will be released as part of the town activities during the Saskatchewan Day long weekend. Screenings will be held at Midale’s Central School on Saturday and Sunday, August 2nd and 3rd at 12:30 PM, and again on Sunday at 5:00 PM. Admission is free, but seats are limited, so it’s first come, first served.
