The Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) supports Indigenous talent, communities and companies in the development, production and marketing of screen content. ISO supports partners in building a robust Indigenous screen sector and workforce.
ISO’s priority is to support First Nations, Inuit and Métis storytellers from across Canada including representation from diverse regions, women, 2SLGBQTIA+, emerging creators, and Indigenous language groups.
Funding opportunities are available through two key streams: the ISO Story Fund and Sector Development. Note the following current program deadlines and upcoming opening dates for indigenous screen-based creators.
Development fund for TV and web series, feature length films closes August 19, 2026.
The following programs are open until funds are depleted or March 1, 2027 deadline:
Finishing fund program for post-production.
Marketing, Promotion and Distribution Program for completed projects.
Travel program for project related activities or professional development that requires travel.
