SATP (Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals) has started a new program called Coffee Club, which is essentially exactly what it sounds like! Each month, they choose a theme that pertains to our members – and we invite folks to meet at a local coffee shop and discuss! It’s very casual, drop in/drop out, and the goal is simply for people to meet and chat.
SATP’s next Coffee Club’s subject is ‘Working Between Theatre and Film’. Jeff Evans-Todd and Judith Schulz, SATP’s ED, will be ‘hosting’, and have extended their invite to Screen Sask members. There is a lot of interest and curiosity about how to bridge the gap between industries, so take time to have a coffee with some from the theatre community.
