Reelworld was founded in 2000 by award-winning actress and producer Tonya Williams to amplify films and media led by racialized and Indigenous people and to increase access to creative, career and leadership opportunities in Canada’s screen industries.
The five-month Reelworld Emerging 20 (E20) Program is designed to help emerging screenwriters develop a finished, polished script. The program features two streams—Series and Film—with ten writers selected for each. Information/Application.
The Reelworld Producer Program is a four-month, part-time program for emerging producers who want to build or strengthen their own production companies.
