One Stop Business Workshop: The Media Map – A One Stop Guide for Newcomers online, May 19-21, 2026 dedicated to helping newcomers creators navigate the Canadian industry.
CBC, CAVCO, and CMPA are hosting the 9th season of One Stop Business Workshop, a series of FREE vitural information sessions that introduce emerging independent producers and content creators from traditionally underrepresented groups in the industry (Indigenous, Black, people of colour, women 2SLGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities) to topics related to the business and financing of TV, film and original digital content.
Workshop speakers are coming from ReelWorld, the South Asian Canadian Film Federation, the Independent Production Fund, the Bell Fund, Telefilm, CAVCO and the Disability Screen Office, just to name a few.
