Telefilm Canada – Accepting Submissions.
Telefilm Canada is currently accepting submissions for its market showcase Not Short on Talent presented at Cannes 2026 – Short Film Corner.
Not Short on Talent is a Telefilm Canada initiative that presents a selection of new Canadian short films at international markets. Our showcase aims to increase the visibility of new Canadian short films and to promote talent to industry delegates registered in international markets, including buyers and festival programmers.
The selected films will be presented at the Short Film Market 2026. In addition, if your film is selected, you will have access to training developed by the Short Film Corner and specifically dedicated to our cohort. The market runs parallel to Cannes Festival, May 17 to 20, 2026.
