Proven ability to manage and complete accounting projects of $500K to 14 million dollars as Production Accountant to film productions. Have the proven ability to insure that funds are flowing into the production on a timely basis and insure that payroll and Accounts Payable are paid weekly. I work in respect based collaborative environment internally and externally to my Department. Managing projects and clients allows me to be flexible and fresh. Experience Independent Accounting Consultant August 1999 — Present • Work primarily for the Film Industry but have additional experience in Manufacturing, Documentary and Abattoir business. • Provide a full range of accounting services, including: Payroll/Accounts Payable, Invoicing and Bank Reconciliation. • Work with the Production Hierarchy to insure that funds/funding and spending are controlled and institute financial controls as required. • Provide external reporting of expenses and cash positions on a weekly basis. • Charged with managing production accounting audits (Typically 3 per production) • Manage work flow critical to keep reporting relevant in terms of controlling production, including: Payroll, Accounts Payable and Petty Cash. • Approve every piece of Data that is entered into the accounting software. • Work on my own or manage a staff of up to 4 people depending on the size and scope of the project.
