Matt is a jack of all traits in the film and television world. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Video Production and a Diploma in Media
Arts Production he started working in the editing room on television series like Crime Stories (A&E), Edge of War (History Channel) and The Other Side
(APTN). Matt has a passion for telling stories with images and went on to shoot and direct independent films Malignance [Best Film at Bloody International
Film Festival 2017), television documentaries Howland’s Honey [Best Community Programming – Yorkton International Film Festival 2018), 3 episodes of
Searchers [APTN 2025] and numerous television commercials (Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, Special Olympics, John Deere). With a keen sense for detail and an
unparalleled technical ability Matt brings a fresh attitude to any project he is involved with. Matt enjoys the collaborative process and building long lasting
relationships with clients and team members. With a camera in hand he has shot in virtually every scenario and environment that exists on this planet. On
the weekends you can find Matt out in nature hiking or kayaking, shooting time-lapse photography or building something in his woodshop.
