Despite being a self-described extreme introvert, Amanda knows how to tell great stories about people; a skill she may have picked up so she can avoid talking about herself. So it’s no surprise that she’s spent most of her career in film in post-production, where spending time alone in a dark room is the norm. From these quiet rooms, Amanda has lent her talents to numerous productions as story editor, including; “Dirt Farmers” (3 seasons), “The Other Side” (1 season), “Red River Gold” (1 season), “Treaty Road” (1 season). As an editor, she has worked on the documentary “Covers the Earth Boy”, YFF Community Television award winner “From Grain to Glass”, and docu-series “Staying Wild” and “Dirt Farmers”. She’s also been a key participant as a writer for a number of pitches with numerous production companies including Angel Entertainment, 3 Story Pictures, and Little Ox Films.
