“The Indigenous Screen Summit (ISS) showcases First Nations, Métis and Inuit voices, creators and their unique stories, across a variety of genres.

The ISS’s flagship event is the Indigenous Screen Summit Pitch Forum that offers Indigenous producers and creators a unique opportunity to pitch their in-development, Scripted drama, Scripted Comedy, and Unscripted/Documentary projects, to a panel of Canadian and international buyers, in front of an industry audience.

This half-day Pitch Forum event takes place in person, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel as part of the Banff World Media Festival renowned conference and marketplace. Access is complimentary for all BANFF pass holders.

A dedicated ISS stream continues embedded within the main BANFF program. Over the long term, the festival aims to foster a legacy of greenlights and global footprint for Canadian Indigenous storytellers and content.

The ISS is a Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) initiative, in partnership with the Indigenous Screen Office (ISO), the Canada Media Fund (CMF), APTN and Rogers.”
