Filming is now underway at the John Hopkins Regina Soundstage on How We Do It Productions’ exciting new preschool series coming in July! In association with AMI (Accessible Media Inc.) and Citytv Saskatchewan, production has begun on the new preschool series, How We Do It (27×7). Broadcast details will be announced soon.
How We Do It is a series where kids of all abilities come together to show viewers how they live their lives. Hosts Carly (Allison Lang), Isaac (Donovan Whyte), and puppet Howie the Dog (Crispi Lord) explore a range of topics relevant to preschoolers. From handling big feelings, trying new sports, or making friends all is done with a special focus on the disability community. Whenever Carly, Isaac or Howie need insight or some advice, they call on a diverse group of young guests to help them share, laugh and play!
With the support of Creative Saskatchewan and the Canada Media Fund, How We Do It has an estimated economic impact of over $1 million dollars and has created 50 jobs.
Local producers Adrian Dean and Dawn Bird oversee a crew and cast coming from around the province. The production is giving young people of all abilities a chance to showcase their acting abilities through the medium of television
