Writer/director Nathaniel Joséf is casting CAGES, an independent coming-of-age short film shooting in Regina in August/September.
‘CAGES follows Danny on the eve of reuniting with his estranged father, who is being released from prison after years of incarceration, as he spends a summer day with friends while confronting hope, disappointment, and the memories that continue to shape him. Inspired by films such as Aftersun, The Florida Project, Boyhood, and mid90s, the project aims for grounded, naturalistic performances and emotional authenticity.
