Paranormal Thriller Filming in Regina.
Screen Sask’s Robert Hardy joined Creative Saskatchewan’s team on a visit to the set of Beyond The Veil this week, a paranormal thriller produced by Karma Film and supported through Creative Saskatchewan’s Feature Film and Television Production Grant. Filming took place at a stunning heritage home in Regina’s Lakeview neighborhood, doubling as a haunted house in the film.
The production is estimated to spend more than $4.3 million locally, resulting in a $5.8 million positive economic impact for Saskatchewan and creating nearly 80 jobs for Saskatchewan crew and performers. Creative Saskatchewan committed $1.7 million to the project, generating a return of $3.32 for every public dollar invested.
