It was a busy weekend at ScreenSask.
First, thank you to Shannon Farr and Insight Production’s John Murray for hosting our two day development master class, “From Idea to Greenlight”. They led 25 Saskatchewan producers and creators through every step of developing a scripted television series, and factual series.
At the same time, leading Canadian writer Ken Craw (Heartland, Family Law) led the 6 participants in the ScreenSask Writers Room through the second of their 2 day in-person writing rooms, where they broke script and worked on their web series and vertical series mini bibles and scripts. Next step: they’re working with top Canadian story editors to get their projects polished and ready to pitch.
Topping it off, we welcomed all of our program participants, facilitators and key industry players to a high-energy networking reception where writers and producers got to meet, mingle, and pitch.
