Prowler Pictures is headed to South Korea!
The company’s production of “Ria”(dir: Arvin Belarmino) is set to premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea this coming October in the Visions section.
Faced with a demolition threat by an unscrupulous developer, young punk, Ria, joins her foster mother and her hardcore punk gang to defend their home, the sole surviving building standing in the ruins of their neighbourhood.
Produced by Jefferson Moneo and Executive Produced by Fabiola Caraza, Ria is a co-production between the Phillipines, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Canada and was supported by Next Step Semaine de la Critique Cannes, Cannes Film Festival Cinefondation, Locarno Industry Academy, and the Red Sea Fund.
