Rylan Van Duyvendyk is looking for volunteers who work in the film and entertainment industry to share their stories and experiences for his thesis student film.
Lamplight is a documentary film about people’s “journey” of finding their career rather than their breakout moment. It will be focussed on stories about the times that went wrong or when things weren’t working out, and the journey of figuring it out.
Rylan would like to feature experienced individuals in the film industry and entertainment and ask them questions about their careers. The idea of the film is to create a “guide” of sorts for those entering the film industry, how people got their start, insights which they could offer to young people, good or bad.
If you’re working in the industry and willing to be interviewed, email rylan.vanduyvendyk@gmail.com. The interviews can be as short or as long as the participants wish, with only the audio of the conversation being recorded. Since Rylan is a University of Regina student, preference will be given to those living in the Regina area.
