Editing Individual Member Profiles

Membership Type

If you’re an Individual Member, you’ll see an option to indicate your “Individual Membership Type”.

We offer a discount of up to 60% off your membership, if you’re an employee of a Corporate Member company, a student, or a member of one of our partner unions, guilds or non-profits. Just follow the prompts.

This is where you let us know what affiliation you want your discount associated with.

It also lists you on that company or organization’s profile page, so you can show you’re proudly connected to them.

Personal Info

  • This is where you can tell detail your role in the industry, upload a profile photo, and add a bio and contact info.
  • Add your credits in the bio section.
  • Provide a link to your IMDb credits, website and social media feeds.
  • Use Hide if you don’t want to display your email and phone number on the public directory. However, we recommend you include your contact info so people can use the directory to connect with you.

Put a note in your calendar to update your listing at least every 4 to 6 months, to add new credits and info.

Affiliations

  • Are you a member of several unions or guilds, or belong to a Chamber of Commerce or other organization?
  • Just click each box that you’re a member of and it will appear alongside your listing.
  • If you don’t see your group listed here, email us at office@screensask.com and we’ll add it.

Professions

  • This is where you can indicate the kind of work you do and positions you are skilled in.
  • This can be a helpful tool for people looking for freelance crew or project partners.
  • If you don’t see your skill or position listed, email us at office@screensask.com and we’ll add it.
  • Please only indicate departments and positions you currently work in or are skilled in (not ones you aspire to).

Editing Corporate Member Profiles

Company Information

Corporate Members must indicate whether your organization has 10 or fewer employees/members or 11+ employees/members. Larger organizations pay more, to help support the work ScreenSask does.

  • Upload your Company Logo and a Promotional Poster, to showcase your brand and the projects you do.
  • Profile your company contact info, website and social media feeds.
  • Provide a corporate bio, where you can list your credits.

Primary Representative

Every corporate member appoints an individual to be their Primary Representative. This person receives a complimentary Individual membership. They’re listed as the primary contact on your profile page, and also vote on behalf of the company.

To change your Primary Representative, email us at office@screensask.com.

Coming soon, you’ll be able to see and update your primary representative on your ‘edit profile’ page.

Associated Individuals

When an Individual member indicates that they’re an employee of a member company, a student at a certain school, or a member of one of our partner unions or guilds, they’re listed on that company or organization’s profile page. These can be changed by the individuals themselves on their profile pages.
